MY AWESOME HOLIDAY

I am about to show you what I did on my amazing holiday. The green highlights mean fantastic word' the red highlight is word's that end with ing the blue highlight is ed word's so I hope you really enjoy my writing so here it is.

My day in Rotorua park

Introduction

The first time I went to the Rotorua Park it was hot and dry. I knew this was going to be a great day because as mum pulled up the car I could see my dad waiting for me. I excitedly opened the door and ran and gave him a big hug.

Paragraph 1:

Dad and I ran over to the biggest slide in the world, climbed up the ladder and had a race down the slide together. As I was going down the slide I was pushing against the slide with my hands which was making me go faster. I got to the bottom first. Then dad helped me to build the tallest sandcastle. Once it was built we jumped on it. Dad got sand all through his pockets. When he pulled his pockets out all the sand come fall out making a small sandcastle.

Paragraph 2:

We then went over to the monkey bars but they were so hot that I couldn't play on them because the bars were burning my hands. The fountains weren't working either because it was too hot. We had a picnic under the shade but there were so many of us we didn’t get much each to eat so I didn’t enjoy the picnic very much.

Paragraph 3:

After our picnic we went home to have a shower and watch a movie. Dad had raced to my house to watch the movie as well. Me and mom  beat him home so I had enough time to have a quick shower, get ready for the movie and get some blanket's. The movie was Harry Potter.

After watching the  Harry Potter series we went to the Waterpark and saw my auntie. She was having a swim. We bought some water guns from outside a shop. We saw a dog in the water park. My dad called  Animal Control to get the dog out of the water park. The Animal Control Officer asked me if I wanted the dog. I asked my dad and he said “yes”. We took the dog to the Rotorua Park because the weather had changed and had cooled down.  I named the dog Sandy because she was the colour of sand. I took her for a run around the river at Rotorua.

Conclusion:

I really enjoyed going for a run and getting a dog. Sandy is a good dog and she will always be a good dog.
