MY COMIC

In my reading group we have been learning to read a book and turn it into a comic book.I will show you how I turned into a comic book before I do that I will tell you the title of the first story I read it was called school journal august 2016 so here it is. our. 
W.A.L.T is to visualise and retell a story from a book and put it into a comic book.

Digital ignition

For Digital Ignition we went to the hall to see a lady called Lyn. In the first session we made paper planes to follow step by step instructions, it was fun.  After flying the planes we had to find a buddy and  go back to back and describe to our buddy how to make a paper plane then we had to have a companion to see whose plane went the furthest.
After we did this we got ipads and we used scratch junior. We had to make algorithm for Maui and the sun. For the last session we used scratch junior to make an algorithm about the environment.

I found these sessions awesome but it was pretty challenging as well.

I wish there where  more sessions so I can learn more about coding and Scratch.Junior

Genius hour

Every friday Ako ngatahi as a time in the morning called Genius hour. It is when you create something and there are some options that you can pick from when you pick  your option you have to stay in that option for 5 weeks when you stay in that option for 5 weeks you can pike another one if you want to .You can stay in that option for as long as you want. I was in lego construction and now I am in drawing.Here are the option that you got to pick from.

1. drawing.
2. lego construction.
3. lego stop motion.
4. scratch coding.
5. wood construction.
6. sewing.

Because I am in drawing here is a picture of my eye I drew.

MY AMAZING RESEARCH ON MYTHICAL CREACHERS

We have been learning to research on mythical creatures. My creature was a leprechaun here is my steps of how I did it.
1. We selected information from the internet .
2. We selected keywords and put them into a sentence like this.

3.We had to make sure we understood the information that we got online.
